Seriously. The chosing of Palin as a running mate would be career suicide.
Sure, for a few days her story & lack of experience would get some traction.
But, she could NEVER be the leader of our country~ and that's why the VP choice is SO important.
It shows what kind of leader you would be. McCain is showing (to us again and again, and now to his supporters)
that he makes TERRIBLE choices.

It's almost as if he is gift wrapping the election for us.

Maybe he has buyers remorse for being on the ticket himself?

On EDit: Just got a text message from an old friend who is a die hard Rethug (the worst of the worst)
who knows I am a die hard dem. The message read: Guess ur team is going 2 win b.c not even I can vote
4 a tic w. Palin on it

1. No matter the choice, it is wrong.
If it's Palin, he's deep fat fried.

If it's Lieberman, the Rethugs will go ape shit.

If it's Bush....... well, our "just like Bush" stance is that much stronger.

It seems a waste of Republican time and money to continue at this point- he can't win.
OBama's speech last night pretty much sealed our victory to begin with.
This is just icing on the cake.

2. Given his ultra-elderly status...
...and health problems--not to mention that giant bulge on his face that NO ONE
seems to be addressing--his veep pick is especially important.

No one would be shocked if McCain suddenly died of natural causes. The man is old.
He putters. And he thinks lettuce pickers make $100 an hour.

His pick MUST be someone that people feel comfortable being the President RIGHT NOW,
because McCain looks as if he could croak RIGHT NOW.

Besides, wouldn't it be a bit ironic if McCain nominated someone who has only been
a governor for a year and a half--yet, his biggest criticism of Obama is his lack
of experience?

Hellooooo? Hysterically Ironic, party of 2--your table is ready, and it's next to the
boiler room!

5. Anyone who supports a Palin pick who doesn't see that is EXACTLY
what we are going to go after (the inexperience) is an IDIOT.

10. Yeah. I'm sure HE wants to be president, but Rove doesn't want him
They're going to spend the next 4 years trying to sabotage Obama and blame him for the problems they created and they will do their best to try and stop him from fixing those problems.

This might be a sacrificial lamb ticket.

The reaction from Repubs and independents in my office is "WHO?" Even the hard-core Republican is saying this is not a good pick.

11. Yep! This way they can say they put a woman on the ticket so it will be
written in history. They know they can't win with this ticket. It will be a fucking LANDSLIDE!!
