12. I'm really offended by the "he can't go after" her argument
What a bunch of nonsense. If she can't handle being forcefully challenged because she's a woman and therefore has delicate sensibilities, aren't they implicitly saying that a woman can't handle the toughness required to be President? Biden has absolutely no reason to change his strategy because she is a woman and I would be offended if he did.

3. The media is eating this story up. They love her.
All the people fooling themselves by thinking this was a stupid pick really don't get it. McCain came close to picking two really boring men who brought NOTHING to the ticket. At least Palin brings the base, a new storyline and excitement.

10. I agree.. to a point
They needed to blunt the effect of Obama's popularity and the energy and excitement he generates while appeasing the conservatives and reinforcing the idea of McCain as a "maverick". So, short term, it's a good pick but in the long term, not so much. By the time Nov 4th rolls around, his age and her inexperience will not be to their advantage. They will lose both the Presidential and Vice-Presidential debates and that will be all she wrote ( no pun intended).

14. The big problem is there is not much
time for the public to realize how inexperienced she is, just over 60 DAYS till the election. :-(

9. Chuck Todd is in the tank for the GOP
It pains me to say that because I truly enjoyed him during the primaries, but he's revealed his true colors in the past couple weeks.

Just ignore her. We can't afford four more years of Bush. That's all we have to say.

13. Andrea is asking Bill Burton if Joe Biden won't be able to go after her now bc she will have a
"gender advantage". Good grief. This is a sad day for women if the American public falls for it. And putting aside the issue of whether this helps McCain win, if they DO win...how terrifying! Sarah Palin?

and now Andrea is pulling out some strawman saying "I met someone in 2 o clock in the morning who thought Obama was too mean to McCain!" Haha.

Biden won't LOOK like a bully but he'll be CALLED one by the MSM if he treats her like an equal.
