Folks, McCain's Camp just conceded that we're winning this election handily
Look at what this choice strongly implies:

1) It confirms that despite some close national polls, the McCain camp realized that all of the momentum and ground game was on Obama's side. Obama's lead had to be significant enough to scare them because with their choice of Palin....

2) They have completely abandoned their message. They have run on "Ready to Lead". Palin seriously undermines that. I mean SERIOUSLY. The Democrats are going to be able to turn some of their own messaging right back on them. This is like a campaign switching campaign managers mid-race. It's almost never a good thing. This choice also means...

3) The Republicans want to make this race about Hillary Clinton. And that is not only desperate, it's incredibly cynical. The Republicans are handing over their focus to the Democrats. And we have Hillary Clinton on our side. Do you think she's going to hesitate to underline which party is the true champion of women's issues?

Skinner made this point and Chuck Todd has made it as well.

We're WINNING. McCain's choice shows it. We just have to close the deal.

Will this get some women to consider McCain anew? Yes. But as many others have pointed out, the stakes are so high, especially with McCain's age, I do NOT think women will make their choice solely on the fact Palin is on the ticket.

But more importantly, in my mind, one of these campaigns has already realized this fundamental fact: POLITICS IS LOCAL.

Only one campaign is on the ground, building its base and campaigning on local issues - Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

If we work hard, this election is OURS.

1. I'd love to be at an Obama stategy session today, listening in.
My guess is that they are overjoyed.

2. That's the big point
McCain has never had substance this campaign. Finally showing that it will be ALL gimmickry and valueless propaganda proves your point exactly, despite lingering fears here that the GOP cheat machine could pit Howdy Doody vs. God and win with the devil's puppet. So, the first point is, they have lost the election. The second is the remaining question how many risks will they take trying to sustain the illusion before giving up or getting caught disastrously. Or make the constant flow of insulting illusions work for them against all reason.

The reality has always been this is not a viable election with real choices. This is mannered, silent revolt against a fundamental lie, against the Coup. One real choice: Obama and a great choice at that. The myth of a democratic election versus bold fraud. Obama makes the myth work. McSame makes the fraud look real real bad and -so far- inept.

3. Please, PLEASE just beware ES&S and Diebold.
And even if the GOP throws us this one, sooner or later ES&S and Diebold will come back to bite us big time.

Please people. PAY ATTENTION.
