Stop throwing affirmative action around as if we all don't know what it's about. She is not an affirmative action hire. She is simply unqualified. You are implying that affirmative action forgoes quality for tokenism.

1. In principle
you are correct. It should not lead to less qualified people. But in reality, affirmative action does sometimes lead to less qualified people. Sorry, but look at the entrance scores to college/law school in some of the recent Michigan cases before the Supreme Court. There were dramatic differences in the admission scores between white and black students.
