McCain's SHORT-TERM mission has been accomplished-but he will lose the "war." |
|
He surely undercut the coverage of Obama’s historic speech he gave last night which was obviously a short-sighted attempt to steal the spotlight. Let the media go on and on about Palin. It's already turning to how inexperienced she is, how unfit she is to take over the presidency, and how this was a "hail-Mary pass." Short-term mission accomplished. Long-term failure.

2. They had to stop the meteoric rise, and this was intended to do just that. |
|
Otherwise, it was over. It might be over anyway.

4. I know. But I think all it did was stall it for a day. Who could take McCain's pick seriously |
|
when he only met with her two times and is the favorite of people like Limbaugh and Buchanan? She has no experience and she's much more likely to have to step into the presidency than OUR VP (even though he's more than ready if necessary).

3. Delighted to hear the MSM is admitting her lack of experience |

It must be dawning on them that Obama is going to be the next President.;-)
One thing though--McCain kind of had to announce today. There was a very short window between our convention and theirs.
