We've been had, the consensus around here is everyone would like to have beer with the Gov.
We are in big trouble. I don't understand the surprise factor here. I think McCain just found out this morning but we should have been ready for this.

It's pretty dumb to pick a President based on with whom you want to have a beer. I guess it's a way of saying they're like an ordinary guy. Well, I prefer my President to be smarter than I.

So, I don't care to have a beer (I don't like beer anyway) with Obama or McCain or Palin. However, Michelle Obama seems like such a warm woman, I would love to have tea with her. Too bad I didn't get to hear Dr. Jill Biden, as I'm sure she is also a wonderful, warm person. I know these women (like their husbands) are much smarter than me but, it's different...
