Wasserman-Shulz took apart Palin on Race To the White House |
|
Way to go Debbie!
"McCain tried to pander to us by picking someone who simply has the same parts as us" (paraphrase).
She also said McCain failed the judgment test horribly, just as Barack Obama had mentioned. .

2. she was great this morning too! |

Gregory was an epic jack ass...he claimed that Hillary's statement "suggested that her supporters take another look at McCain", and said that "Since Obama claimed in his speech last night that judgement is more important than experience, they can't accuse Palin for inexperience!" Uh, Stretch? Obama has a few points of reference for when his judgement was RIGHT, what the fuck does Palin have? He is positively giddy about this.

3. David Gregory tried to trip Wasserman-Schultz up. |
|
He is toadying the repugnican meme of if you attack her lack of experience, Obama opens himself
up for attack on his lack of experience. This is a woman who has never left the US, was mayor of a
city? of 7K and has been governor < 2years and is still breastfeeding her infant. McSame is 72y
and could drop dead any minute (Tim Russert anyone?). Yeah Obama could drop dead too, but
someone 72 is more likely to die than someone 46. This is laughable.

4. Yeah, I just saw that segment and viewed it similarly |
|
Gregory -- and almost all of the media -- are limiting the discussion to Palin attracting Clinton voters based on gender and aren't getting into the issue differences and Palin's positions. We only have 2 months to vet and test this VP candidate and the news media is wasting critical time.
Also, I thought DW-S missed an opportunity to answer Gregory on the difference between Biden and Palin and the experience question. As VP, Biden could support Obama; but were Palin to be President, by necessity McCain would not be around. Palin could be getting sworn-in as President next January 20th, and she has ZERO national or foreign policy experience.

5. Am a bit deeper into "Race...", now .... |
|
... and Gregory totally mischaracterized Palin's comment regarding her knowledge of the Vice Presidency. Gregory said Palin merely stated that the VP slot may not be worthwhile relative to the Governorship of a state, rather than her stating that she doesn't know what the VP job entails.
