One really annoying thing about the Palin pick...
...is that we'll never get to see those attack ads featuring Mittens on McCain. The Obama camp must be fuming about that. But I trust they'll find something else to use.

I am a bit surprised how complacent some here are being about the pick. Remember that the American public brought us Bush in both 2000 and 2004 - or at least voted close enough for them to be stolen. Palin may be obviously underexperienced to intelligent progressives, but she's "likeable" from what we've seen so far. People like Rove know how important this is.

We need a good line of attack, and we need it fast.
