If You're Getting Discouraged, Here's A Little History Lesson
The same media that's telling you that Bush is surging to victory in the polls is the exact same media that said that Bush would trounce Gore in 2000. "Officially", we lost that election by 500 votes in one state. That's all. Five hundred stinking votes. That's the size of one freshman English class at a community college.

The lesson of 2000 was simple: The damn media, esp. cable news networks, do not decide who is president. It's the sweat, hard work, and perseverance of tireless workers that do. So, let Bush have his week, and let the media spew their b.s. about the Swift Boat vets. In the end, the people will decide this election on the fundamentals of peace and prosperity, and those fundamentals favor Kerry.

3. He said "Officially"...
Think of Dr. Evil and his "finger quotes" in Austin Powers. We all know Shrubya got the best appointment money could buy.

4. I Put The Word Officially In Quotes
All that I'm saying is that even if you accept the "official" results, we should have learned that that election turned on getting out the vote on election day, not media polls two months before the election.

7. And Make sure the West goes to the polls even after the NEWS
media discourages them by saying ....so and so is winning.....I wish they weren't allowed to report anything until all polls were closed.

The WEST, HAWAII and ALASKA need to go to the polls NO MATTER WHAT the media say.
