Yes, we should make every effort not to be sexist but everything about this women will and should be questioned. That includes her family, past, etc and we can't tip toe around it or we give the republicans just what they want.

Governor Palin has less experience than Obama, loves guns and killing animals and is an NRA toting conservative. These issues need to be front and center and it appears that she hasn't been vetted so there will be a lot of speculation at first but there is no "benefit of the doubt" until we know for certain. McCain is 72 years old and this puts his age/health and Governor Palin's values and past into the forefront.

2. I have heard all day that Biden will have to go easy on her
during the debate so he won't look like a bully. My question is WHY? If she expects to play in the big league, why does she have to be treated differently?

7. If by evil fate she becomes president she will have to deal
with KGB veteran Putin and Hu Jin Tao of China who survived in the vicious schooling of a Stalinist bureaucracy. This is in Hillary's league but not in Ms Palin's for sure.

10. You must have missed one of today's pundits who said,
"Palin was able to handle Senator Stevens, so she'll be able to handle Putin." Can you believe this??

25. Egg-zactly! Would the 'Pubes have gone easy on Hillary had she been our nominee?
HELL no.

Biden needs to take the gloves off and start swinging on this crazy right-wing tool.

After all, if she can't handle Joe, how can she handle China...or bin Laden?

6. Biden does.
But we don't.

If she gets the John Edwards treatment, I'm happy as can be.

8. Did Joe personally tell you that?
or, did some talking head MSM pundit say it? Or someone on this board?

I doubt Joe will go easy on her. he will do it with tact, but she will NOT be off the hook.

13. It would be sexist of of Biden to go easy on her.
Women need to be treated with kid gloves? I think not. Biden needs to take her lunch money just like he would any Repuke - and if MSM tries the "bully" crap, let them know it's inherently sexist.

17. Great post!
A nice addendum would be Palin's record vs. Biden's! (Since they're both gunning for the same job.) Now THAT would be some damn good reading.

18. Disagree - Ignore Palin, Focus On McCain
Palin did not pick herself. McCain did. So, who's judgment is at issue? John McCain.

Sarah Palin is irrelevant. The only time that she becomes relevant is when she disagrees with or parts company with John McCain. Otherwise, he is running for POTUS, not her.

I would only pay attention to Palin to the extent that she needs to defend John McCain's policies and decisions. If she can't, then it looks bad for McCain and her.

could ride on them. She believes in talking snakes and wants creationism taught in schools, etc. She is a right wing fundie! I have had enough of those idiots!
