Looks like McCain's pick was a "panic pick" made after Obama's speech
Thursday evening, McCain told Pawlenty to "come on down" to OH. He canceled his plans, etc. But then, Thursday night, suddenly, Palin was called. McCain was never close to her and only spoke to her twice. He chose her because he blinked after seeing how well Obama's speech went off! HAHAHAHA!!!

no, it wasn't. It was calculated weeks ago. Remember Rove's bs about Kaine being
nothing more than a strategic pick since he's from a small city?

Rove always accuses his opponents of what he's going to do.

7. He wouldn't have "rolled the dice" with her if Obama didn't do such a great job and if
the Convention hadn't gone so smoothly.

13. #1. McCain orchestrated the whole thing. Including PUMA. #2. There's no roll of the dice
when you plan on stealing the election.

4. The funny part is
Pawlenty would probably have been a tougher opponent to criticize for the Obama campaign.

5. Palin was en route to Ohio from Alaska
before Obama delivered his speech, fyi. So it was decided before Obama's speech.

10. So was Pawlenty. It looks like Obama's successful speech made his decision clear.

6. Ten to one the vetting process was barely half hearted
and incomplete.

Based upon half of the scandal information I've seen so far, it wasn't anything more than a "show" vetting and she was never really considered a realistic pick three months ago.
