LOL....Alaska person HATES her but is going to support her...... |

From an Alaska Blog......
Yes, Yes!! I would vote Sarah Palin for VP anyday...just to get her out of Alaska. She is ruining our state and if the rest of the country is as stupid as the majority of Alaskans who approve of her (the same 500 people are polled each time- yes, 500 out of the 600,000 entire state pop) then the US deserves to have a completely incompetent hockey mom as VP. I can only hope the lower 48 is smarter than that. Who's next, Paris Hilton? Britney? This is a total joke and you should know better. Ask any intelligent person in Alaska and they will tell you what they really think of Palin. Besides, she's too busy promoting herself to actually govern. She'll make Dan Quayle look like a genius.

important it is for a presidential candidate in picking his VP as it is considered his first most important decision. So where does that put McCain, I guess it is too early to tell but I cannot see any good coming out of that choice for the republicans, only good for the dems. She has absolutely 0 knowledge of foreign policy. Guess in McCain's eyes you win a beauty contest, that qualifies you.

3. McCain, predictably, is picking someone who won't outshine him, which would make him look even worse |
|
This is true in the corporate world. Over the years, I often wondered why the CEO's, and, similarly, the managers lower down the pecking order, always chose subordinates who were incompetent or obnoxious. It became apparent that they were avoiding the situation where the assistant looked better than the boss.
Palin won't make McCain's lapses look so bad, and at the same time, going after her will make Dems look like they are "picking on" a women. The Democrats have to be careful how they handle this. However, I don't see it as helping the Republicans that much.
