3. If he said that, then he is an idiot
Regardless of the RNC, the hurricane means people will die and property will be destroyed.

We don't need a Fred Phelps of the Left.

5. Moore sounded as bad as John Hagee and all the other fundies who said
Katrina was God punishing NOLA.

8. As a resident of South Louisiana, I'd say that's tacky
But MM has done lots of good and I forgive him, and sort of agree with him...or would if I weren't staring down this storm

13. I'm from Florida and I forgive him too..but it's like I said last night
lots of folks from parts of our country outside of the path of hurricanes just don't get it. I believe Michael is from the midwest.

10. To be fair, he was clear that he hoped that everyone will get to safety
and he was pointing out the irony that James Dobson's people were praying for rain on Obama's speech and instead it appears that the hurricane will take place during the Republican convention. They also worked the Bush-McCain cake celebration during Katrina in there, so good on them for that.

11. oh come on.. he immediately followed that with "of course I want everyone to be safe..."
but went to say how this will remind folks how McCain was actually eating cake and having a little party with Bush while N.O. residents were drowning.

12. That is not right, Michael Moore
I love ya, but you have no right to equate bad luck for Rethugs to thousands of innocent people put in danger of losing their very lives and everything they own.

That's something Rethugs would do-it's above somebody like you. Please think before you speak about something like that next time.
