5. Actually... it's about politics and ticket balancing. |
|
I don't remember Quayle having qualifications OR experience.
She is balancing the ticket in every way imaginable.
Female vs. Male Young vs. Old Healthy (and fertile) vs. Cancerous Right wing conservative vs. centrist/moderate Governor vs. Senator
This is a "VP as Protege" ticket. And it will be spun as such, and a lot of people will buy it. And yes, she fits into the VPILF for more men than we ladies want to think about. Nor can we do anything about it. Even exposing it will cause the men to laugh, because they aren't afraid to admit it, and she probably won't mind. Heck, W is "excited".
The American people, in general, are NOT acting upset about this. Just the pundits and the DU'ers.
We need to quit laughing and get busy figuring out a way to attack her candidacy that will work, without gaining her any sympathy votes.
I say we just let her trip herself up by revealing that she isn't in step with McCain, and doesn't have the depth to step into office if it's required. She can gain breadth. But "shallow" is usually a life-long attribute.
We don't need another shallow, self-serving president.
