No way people are pulling the lever for Palin
I'm sure she's a decent person, with faults like anyone who's had a bit of power. I really don't hate her at all, and I think she might be hottest politician I've ever seen. Probably go toe to toe with Obama girl.

However,

Have you watched her speaking with McGramps? She has NOWHERE NEAR the kind of gravitas required to make it as Vice President. She is FAR outside her league, and it shows. Republicans are loving it just for show. They're horrified - and there just aint no way they're going to go into the booth and feel good about pulling that lever.

Girl next door is not the image anyone REALLY wants in the White House.

1. I'm just hoping there aren't enough levels that pull themselves for Palin.

11. Who thinks that way?
Geez, a lot of strange replies to my post. I must be dense today because I'm just not getting them...

Are you saying I don't think of women as equal? I'm willing to cop to some piggish humor, but the comment is so wrong.

4. Just heard of one voter who dropped McCain because of Palin,
as soon as she heard it. According to her son (an Obama supporter who just got an internship in the Senate for next summer), his mom is a diehard Republican, and the minute she

heard of McCain's VP pick, she said she will do a write in vote. I just can't picture Republicans voting for a woman who would leave her infant son, and a son with challenges on top of that, to run for VP and possibly be President. Unless her husband will be the real VP; I hear he sits in on meetings in her Alaskan governmental positions and he actively takes part in them. I guess it would be okay as long as someone with the proper genitals tells her what to do.

10. The problem is Hillary people who were about Hillary and not Democrats.
They could find a kindred spirit in Palin. White, a mother, independent, etc.

She might gain some headway with those voters in battleground states like Penn. or Ohio. This is why we have to campaign like crazy there and win those voters. Obama, Biden, President Clinton, AND Hillary.

Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

I stand by my OP. She's a commoner, and people want at least a bit of elitist.
