We had one of the greatest nights in Democratic history
last night, and it is already forgotten on this board while everyone talks about Palin.

Maybe Gramps new what he was doing.

1. Sorry To Be Mean
but, DUH!

the Republicans knew exactly what they were doing.

Expect more of this. Our only hope is that David Axelrod knows what he is doing too.

3. Nah, don't worry. It's a temporary bandaid
The REASON why he chose her was simply to get attention for a few news cycles. If his campaign was going well, he'd have chosen someone seasoned and experienced.

The fact that it doesn't even look like she was vetted shows that they knew they had to stop the bleeding from our convention, and they chose her quickly without doing much background checking.

Trust me, when the facts start to come in (and they already are, quickly), Palin will not be looking so good.

4. It's ok. The party is more unified than ever with the pick of this fundie named Palin.

5. I didn't mean to imply that I'm seriously worried.
I was just a bit stunned that we could go from all that elation about our own candidate to once again obsessing on theirs, so quickly!

Palin is a pathetic joke.

6. If you aren't worried...
you aren't being realistic. Palin may not look good to us but she has great appeal to a lot of swing voters.
