Palin dissed Alaska state troopers (mocks them for feeling "pressured" in her scandal)
Just something to think about if she or McLame try to give any kind of "we support the police" stump speech:

http://www.adn.com/opinion/comment/story/496302.html

And then, just when you thought she couldn't dig herself in any deeper, she said this about Alaska state troopers who felt pressured by her never-ending campaign to fire her ex-brother-in-law.

"If that's pressure, then (after) years in law enforcement, how do they do their job if that's perceived as pressure?"

Yeah, that's a good idea. Portray the brave men and women of the Alaska State Troopers as weak because they are afraid of losing their jobs and their ability to feed their families. What's wrong with these guys?

The governor seems to be saying: Hey, troopers who felt pressured, man up, help me break the state's personnel rules and stop your bellyaching.

6. Looks like she has a history of firing police over politics
http://hatthief.blogspot.com/2008/08/vetting-sarah-palin-irl-stambaugh-walt.html

It seems that John McCain's vice presidential pick Sarah Palin is not squeaky clean. In fact, she may be as corrupt as pretty much every other still living Alaskan Republican to have held statewide office (the Murkowskis, Ted Stevens, Don Young pretty much covers it).

It seems that in 1997, she almost got recalled as mayor of Wasilla? What led to this? Seems she fired the city police chief and library director

Wasilla Mayor Sarah Palin fired the city's police chief and the library director without warning Thursday, accusing them of not fully supporting her efforts to govern. Irl Stambaugh and Mary Ellen Emmons said letters signed by Palin were dropped on their desks Thursday afternoon telling them their jobs were over as of Feb. 13 and that they no longer needed to report to work.
<snip>

So for Sarah Palin, security does not come first. Like George Bush, it takes a backseat to personal loyalty and cronyism.

10. DAMN! YOU FOUND IT! This story is sooooo much more. i remember
the news interviewing her outside city hall and she was such a nut. Firing these two was awful. If memory serves me, there is a handgun and more weirdness involved. :) Bless you, rainbow darling.

7. I don't think people are realizing something about so called beauty contestants...
they want to win, regardless of the cost, they will lie steal cheat and manipulate to gain the prize, the smile of those that lose is nothing more than a farce, they are in it to win people, she is no shrinking violet, she will smile her way into the deepest depths of evil to gain the prize, actually she fits right in with those she is now tied to...and her pick I suspect was no accident.
