He got the shaft BIG time. How he, a pro-choice, "independent" can still support McSame and his uber-right wing veep choice is beyond me. I believe he sees the writing on the wall if the story is true that he gave some 250,000 to the senate campaign coffers for the dems.

He just might be able to redeem himself if he were to take the podium at the rnc convention and actually dis McSame.

I doubt it will ever happen. Hard to say to the whole world that you were played for a sucker.

Maybe Joe can explain to Palin the difference between Sunni and Shia. Or since she is so well-qualified, maybe she can explain it all to grampy mcbush.

It happens every four years. Last time they had the token Zell Miller from Georgia. This time it was Joe's turn.

Edit: Both tossed out like a used condom. And well deserved I might add.

6. The thing is....
It goes to show that we don't understand or know the REAL people pulling the strings. After all even Palin is being used. Granted that makes sound like a conspiracy theorist....

15. From all the internet rumours
it seems the only one not to have been screwed was Palin.

4. Joe's not stupid, as much as we'd like to think otherwise. I think he knew he was a pawn.
As much as the media would like us to believe otherwise, he was never going to be the pick.

9. Karma is a bitch. Holy Joe has to live with the thought that his best buddy thinks Sara Palin is
more qualified to be VP than he is. That has to chafe his traitorous ass just a little.

10. What will this do to his chances of staying in the D caucus?
Assuming we pick up several senate seats, we may no longer need him. However, every vote counts a lot in the senate. What if he's the difference between 59 and 60? Should we consider a reapproachment, perhaps getting him to drop his support of McCain?

I know he deserves the worst, but should we be thinking strategically here?

11. We need to kick him to the curb....
Then thing is CT has three candidates running for Senate. The Repukes failed to throw their support behind their candidate and Joe won.

17. Why do you think groups like PUMA exist?
Liarman is the best example of Democrats not controlling Party discipline. If you are not going to expel Party members at the top who work against the Party, than lower ranks can. Liarman needs to be got rid of. No one should remain associated with the Party when they work against it.

12. What's the deal on his not getting the VP slot? Did he turn it down? Did Rove?
Who do we have to thank for giving us Ms. Ditsy, I guess is the question.

13. That's why he is always smiling, looking like he is going to cry any minute now.
He's got one of those "they did what?" smiles on his face, trying to look like he is happy.

Like he just found out that the birthday party he was invited to has been cancelled - and he thought the party was for him!!!!!

14. GOOD! I hope the dems win enough seats to give them
enough majority so they can tell him to go jump off a damn bridge. I want them to take his positions from him and everything! Let him go kiss up to the other Republicans in the senate.
