Weird, I just don't remember anyone on DU ever coming to her defense no matter *what* was said.

2. Are you kidding? It would probably be worse.
It seems that some people have a lot invested in showing how "sensitive" they are.

13. I don't doubt that - "Maddie Joan" was a freeper troll who is now TS'ed.
Naturally, defending Ann Coulter here at DU was high on her priority list - as was constantly smearing and attacking the Democratic nominee.

6. Nobody comes to her defense because what she says is assinine.
It didn't matter that she's a woman.

7. Yes.
And some of us did complain about the sexist bullshit used against Coulter, too.

That's what being a Democrat is about. Judging an individual for who they are, not what category they fit into.

10. I am judgin h her for who she is and the fact is she is a female who in all seriousness
could care less about other females so to me that makes her completely irrevelant and unworthy of any respect whatsoever, ask someone who has been raped and wished for an abortion but could not find a safe way to get one or how about think of all those lost lives of women who have themselves such a procedure in sheer desperation for whatever personal reason they might have had,, sorry, she will get NO respect from me she gives women a bad name

11. Then attack her on her position on abortion
and every other ludicrous and offensive believe, ideal, or action she has ever held or taken. There's no need for the sexist crap around here, and if anything, it undermines our message entirely. The liberal message has always been that all people should be able to choose what they do to and with their bodies, but all of a sudden some people around here are questioning what another woman has done with her body. Are our Democratic ideals only for Democrats, or do we truly believe they are for all people? Some of the garbage around here could never be said about our own, yet here we are, saying it about someone else?

That's what McCain is hoping for. He's hoping all these so-called liberals act as disgustingly sexist and bigoted towards Palin as they did towards Clinton and that will drive offended voters to his camp. If DU is indicative, he may have a chance.

12. Oh believe me I am which is why her being a female is open game to me
Edited on Fri Aug-29-08 11:46 PM by AuntPatsy
If people are swayed to vote for someone who does NOT care about the well being of all americans than that is obviously something they have to live with, how angry I get or how I choose to use that anger will not sway a persons vote if they had any ounce of compassion and or true caring about all people..and not just those that they are told to care about.

Oh, and lest you forget, he called his wife a cunt in front of reporters..yes, lets worry about sexism hurting us...sure

8. I gather people have been saying
that criticism of Palin is sexist? Please. If we can't criticise a cretinous know-nothing who is completely unqualified just because she is a woman, that would be the ultimate in sexism.

18. No...
the snickering fingertips alluded to the snickering that the transgendered encounter. Apparently,it was a little too subtle for the dense or those who want to posture about how valiantly sensitive they are.

Now
you can take that finger
wrap it around (a few times if necessary)
and continue jerking yourself off
asshole
