Would it be unfair to post my initial impression of Palin? Probably, but here it is anyway:

My initial impression of her is that she's a narcissistic little twit who thinks the world revolves around her, and who waded out beyond her intellectual depth when she got on the City Council. With no thoughts beyond her own immediate interests, it wouldn't occur to her that there are things she shouldn't do because they are immoral, illegal or stupid. There's no telling what kind of trail of malfeasance and corruption she has left behind her, but with any luck a few brave investigators will be helping us find out in the coming weeks. The whole family sounds like a nest of vipers who have stayed more-or-less out of legal trouble because they have enough money to keep their teeth fixed.
