And so the AP-induced spin for Palin is underway...
Edited on Fri Aug-29-08 11:40 PM by ZombyWoof
Contains cutesy, nauseating references to mooseburgers, and her dexterity of texting on TWO Blackberrys while greeting tourists!

Is there anything this former Beauty Queen and Super Sharpshooting "Reformer" can't do??

America's Sweetheart! *gush*

You want to talk sexist? The MEDIA FAWNING over her is sexist beyond redemption. Its breathless tone is pure tabloid pablum:

"Even before McCain picked her, people outside Alaska were beginning to notice the young governor with the bright smile — runnerup in the 1984 Miss Alaska contest — whose good looks spawned a bumper sticker that read: "Coldest State. Hottest Governor." Last December, she posed for the fashion magazine Vogue."

She's also an environmentalist! Or I am told that over and over in these articles. Just check out these creds that PROVE IT:

"She is a proponent of petroleum development, in tune with McCain, although the two disagree on drilling in Alaska's protected Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. She favors drilling there; he opposes it.

The governor also opposed designating polar bears as threatened under the Endangered Species Act, fearing that step would get in the way of a proposed natural gas pipeline tapping the North Slope's vast reserves."

Well, fuck the polar bears, anyway, because SHE'S HOT! *pant*

2. Wasn't McCain supposed to be a "Pro-Environment Conservative?"
So much for that talking point.

3. Last couple articles I read said she couldn't govern worth a damn
even the town where she was mayor got skewed to hades.

She yea, there is some things she can't do and the surrogates need to tear her a new one because of them.

4. The spin continues
Although there are some cracks in the story, and they aren't Hillary's 18 million votes either.

Hurricane Gustav is taking some coverage off of her as well.

And Obama's Great Convention Speech!
