Can we stop referring to politics and public office as though it were just another "career choice"?
That seems to be a sticking point to some degree on the threads about Palin.

I think people might be a bit more sympathetic to the Palin thing with her baby if she was making a positive career choice.

Of course, if she does just think of it as a positive career choice, it's one good reason why she wouldn't sway my vote.
