Oh yeah, and she's served as governor of one of the smallest states for 18 months, and before that was mayor of a town of 7000.

Shouldn't this be enough to basically ensure an Obama-Biden victory?

7. You know, it sounds silly, but I really think the Dems should make hay of this.
Everyone loves polar bears. They're cute and cuddly, like to frolic in the snow, and drink Coca-Cola.

And she sued to have them taken off the endangered species list so big oil could reap even more billions in profits. People wouldn't like it if she pushed for the slaughter of pandas so tobacco producers could have more space to plant their crops. Why should they forgive this?

2. Don't forget that she was a Pat Buchanan supporter!
Meaning, she'll do wonders in Florida!

5. Well, you're right. That's why it was posed as a question. But at least Bush was the figurative
head of a prominent state for one and a half terms. Sarah Palin has served as governor of a remote, tundra-laden outpost for 18 months.

9. I've seen 6000 and 5000 too. You'd think with so few people they'd be easy to count.
Guess not. Maybe there's a clan of ninjas living in town.

6. I keep seeing a parade of Republican talking head pukes call her a "reformer"
That seems to be the main Republican catch phrase for defining her. She's called a "principled reformer", a "maverick reformer", or a "uniting reformer".

What the heck did she reform? Specifically. Or is "reformer" another Republican code word for usurper or destroyer of everything of value to humanity.

10. Believes the world is only, like, 6000 years old and yet is governor of

a state with a big oil reserve. Magic oil that was created after Noah's flood or something I'm unable to wrap my rational brain around. Magic oil. Not millions of years old of decayed life forms, but magic stuff.

I imagine this will be the first thing VP Palin will change (once she gets her job duty list).
Oil was formed from the remains of animals and plants that lived millions of years ago in a marine (water) environment before the dinosaurs. Over the years, the remains were covered by layers of mud. Heat and pressure from these layers helped the remains turn into what we today call crude oil . The word "petroleum" means "rock oil" or "oil from the earth."
