I ran into a PUMAturd at my dog park

I run my dog at one of many nice dog parks here in Madison. This early evening, I got out of my car (which has an Obama bumper sticker promminently placed) with my dog to enter into the park when some asshole (an obese guy in his late '50s with some mangy mutt) started yelling "Obama should have picked Hillary! He's going to lose! He's going to lose!"

I laughed. I tried saying that McCain is desperate and Palin is nuts. He yelled back "people who voted for Hillary are gonna vote for McCain... especially now with the lady..." I told the guy that Palin wants to ban abortion, even in cases of rape and incest. He didn't listen. He walked away saying "it's the Kennedy's that picked Biden". Then he gave me the finger.

I just laughed and a couple other people in the parking lot were laughing at him as well. The dude was clueless.

They're so convinced that millions of Democratic women are going to vote McCain that they have a bizarre sense of overconfidence. Reading through the New York Times blog with the many RW calls for Obama to concede - ! - because of these millions of Hillary votes that they'll now snap right up.

I mean, really. They honestly believe this.

4. They're making a big mistake.

It seems they think they now have 18 million votes in the can, and I don't believe this will be the case. They may be in for a nasty surprise in November (I hope, I hope!).
