Palin is McCain's revenge against his own party
The Rove team slandered him in 2000 and took the nomination that he felt was rightly his.

So he did everything he could, including hugging Bush in front of the cameras, and carrying his own luggage when the campaign funds ran low, to get the 2008 nomination.

Now he's in the process of burying his party so he can go enjoy a wealthy, laughter-filled retirement.

We've all witnessed the laser-fierce insanity in his eyes as he smiles that horrible smile, and now we know the thoughts behind the smile:

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

2. You know, that would actually make sense if McCain weren't so
ambitious to be president. I still can't get my mind wrapped around why he picked her.

3. That's just it. Revenge is the only theory that makes sense
I mean, unless he's just bugshit crazy

(I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt: if there's anything approaching awareness or judgment in his brain, he must have had a plan of some sort when he picked her)

4. Here I thought *they* picked a VP that they could control....
Or, that *they* picked a woman so they could steal the election, and blame disgruntle Hillary supports for the big upset.

5. The rightwing base seems to like the pick, I doubt if the wall street
republicans are happy though.
