Palin could be in control of the Senate
If McCain was to be elected president, Sarah Palin, would take the role as leader of the Senate. The leader of the Senate could be the hands of a social conservative, pro life, general all around fundie, former Mayor, and former whistle blower uncovering ethical misconduct in state government, that has now led to her own ethical investigation. This woman who has little more than two years of experience as governor of Alaska could be in one of the most important seats in all of congress. Now this is scary.

5. I thought president of the Senate had more powers then tie- breaking
But still she would be highest ranking figure in the senate. Still scary.

3. Not really. The VP is president of the Senate, but doesn't do anymore than break ties.
The majority party elects the senate majority leader. Sara Palin as VP would still be very scary, though!

4. More like least important seat.
She only gets a vote if there's a tie. Not likely with the number of seats we are looking to take this November. (Assuming of course, McSame wins.)
