pushing the palin story to the MSM is a bad idea
and heres why
no one knows if its true but them.
if we go after this, and it doesnt play out,we look like what the GOP has defined us as,
anti family values.
at a time when our candidate has such openly displayed family values,we do not need to hand them ammo
it will be a distraction that will come to nothing
if she stays then "they smeared her but she made it through" and we are the bad guys
and she is a "feminist"hero.
if she goes,it will be for vague reasons and the questions, while still unanswered, will leave a bitter tang in the mouths of indie voters watchful of smear politics.
it could be spun into "they ruined this poor decent woman"
i have a feeling she, if left to her own devices, will implode without help.
she was a bad pick.
she is everything negative that they have been saying about obama.
let her try to stand next to biden, and see if america notices the contrast.

1. Which Palin story? It appears that there are more than a few problems with her.

2. Whether or not the birth fraud story is true or not, the key question is do we want anyone a
heartbeat from the most powerful position in the world when she shows such poor judgment that she chose to fly from Alaska to Texas 8 months into a high risk pregnancy, chose to stay and give a speech AFTER her water broke, and THEN chose to board a plane for an 11 hour flight rather than going straight to the OB unit of the nearest hospital?

3. Leave it up to her
to prove she is going to be a person who will be suited for the position.

it could be spun into "they ruined this poor decent woman"

And it would be. We need to stick to affirmative politics or we will lose.
If Biden attacks her he will look like a father beating up on a daughter or something.
Like it or not the perception of men attacking women in politics is one of violence and it reflects poorly on the side that delivers. It is not a matter of eaqual treatment it is about the visceral response and are our politicians smart enough to avoid triggering one that will score points for the other side.

7. You think what we say and investigate here will have a bearing on her?
You obviously need to go to the cooking forum, they will look at those
as deeply as this one.

A Let the experts handle it like ABC and Fox handle it Right?

You don't like these threads then put then on ignore.

9. Just trying to give insight into the voters I know
We have shot at Missouri. I know the voters we want to keep on our side.

I know how elections go here because I have worked on them. I know how to help win rural voters.

I hear that the learning curve for this "running for national office" thing is pretty steep. Palin was thrown in with no time to learn or practice.

They'll eat her alive.

5. what is the point in trying to squash the story?
if it's true it will come out eventually.

might as well make it happen sooner.

6. It's more of a National Enquirer type story, I would think.

8. Big time, but it seems the web has caught the story in one day
Too bad the mother didn't have control over her Daughter's trigger
and thank god, but not hers, she will never have control over the nation's
NUU-cu-lear trigger.

Did you know? That Rush Limbaugh was a pedophile drug dealer?

Just Google it! Then count the hits.
