Just look at who he picked to lead us just in case he's not available!
BS degree in Journalism from University of Idaho? (not that there's anywrong with Idaho, but come one!) and 2nd runner up in a Miss Alaska Beauty Pageant.
Uh uh.....McCain is simply not fit to be President. Period.
No way, no how, no McCain!

1. The pick says more about McBush than Palin, that's for sure. |

4. I agree, Frenchie. McCain is unfit in every way possible. |
|
This selection of Palin is purely political, just like every other decision a Republican makes. The country be damned.

Look at what it says about McCain's JUDGMENT.
1) She is under investigation for abuse of office. Perhaps she is innocent -- some benefit of the doubt is due -- but the investigation will continue during the fall election. On any day, it could present the Repubs with their Eagleton Moment. Worse, she might be found to have abused her office, even impeached as governor, AFTER the election. The best precedent we have for that is Spiro Agnew -- but suppose the finding were to come after the election, but before the inauguration? No precedent for this constitutional crisis!
2) He seems to believe that supporters of Senator Clinton will now vote for her. Now, I'm male, but I supported Hillary, on the reasoning that a. she was best qualified (some of Barack's remarkable abilities were less clearly known then, and anyway he is too conservative for me -- but he is an intelligent man who will learn). b. If the best qualified person is a woman, that's who should be chosen.
The idea that a Clinton supporter would vote for the Repub ticket because the veep candidate is a woman without visible qualifications for the presidency is pretty much just the opposite.
McCain is an impulsive man, a risk lover who is unwilling, if capable, of making the kinds of careful judgments about great issues that we trust the president to make. From all evidence, Scary Barracuda is very much like that too.
