Sarah Palin selection = GOP-style Affirmative Action
Edited on Sat Aug-30-08 06:49 AM by npincus
I thought the GOP opposed skipping over more qualified candidates to hire based on race or gender? How many old balding (or not) white men with big, fat political resumes were skipped over to pull in this neophyte? How many more experienced Republican women who put in years of government service were bypassed for the lightweight ex-beauty pageant contestant to hop to the front of the line? Isn't this the Flippity-Flop heard 'round the world? Has John McCain lowered the bar for qualification and experience to fill a gender slot?

Hillary met and exceeded all criteria of qualification/experience, and her gender was beside the point.

GOP-style Affirmative Action, at work. Hypocrites.

2. This is a real gift to Saturday Night Live.
Though, when I see Palin my mind links to Elaine on Seinfeld.

HRC came in a very-close second. Your analogy is off. HRC was not "passed over". Get over it, already.
