Poll question: Place your bets -- the LLoyd Benson smakdown -- She is no Hillary
It must be done. You know It's inevitable. Someone's going to get up there and say "Senator McCain you have decided you would rather win an election than give us an experienced Vice President. But I've got news for you. Your cynical ploy is an insult, not a selling point, for supporters of Hillary Clinton. I know Hillary Clinton, I've worked with Hillary Clinton. Senator McCain, she is no Hillary Clinton."

But who will it be, and when? The pool is open, place your bets below and click the poll while you are at it if your answer is there. Closest guess gets a bridge to nowhere!

1. Actually, its already been done by Debbie Wauserman-Shultz.. she's
such an attack dog.. But she said it was insulting to insinuate that just because she has the same female body parts that she was a Hillary Clinton.. and then she ended later with: I know Hillary, and that is NO Hillary. It was when she was on Schuster last night. She was so spot on.. Also said she had more people in her district than all of Alaska to represent.. Perspective.. McCain lost Florida.

3. it is a perfect setup but needed to be said first by another woman.
I anticipate it will be said again, possibly by every female Democratic elected official! Can't you just see the Hon. Senator from Maryland on the stump with this one? I have already had e-mail from Barbara Boxer's PAC about this.

If this had been announced pre convention, the Women of the Senate and the Women of the House would have had not just a field day, but a whole second Olympics over it.

Biden may also say it. Obama may also say it. Big Dawg may also say it.

Or they will at least imply it heavily. Hell, Dukakis might say it, if somebody lets him give a speech somewhere.

Michelle and or Jill may say it or hint at it.

But don't you wish Lloyd himself could say it? Wouldn't he love being able to say it again?

Of course, it will never have the punch it had when he just bombed Quayle with it with all the fury that he was carrying that night.

4. I'm sure Biden will do it in a campaign speech at some point in time.
Sounds like his style.

I still love his take on Rudy "9-11" Guliani.

5. Everyone within the month
I think it's so obvious that every pundit, politico, and supporter on the planet will be saying it.

It's already starting.

7. I think none of the people you've listed will say that publicly because they know nothing would
energize the crazy fundie antifeminist irrationally-Hillary-hating GOP base more.

8. Another one:
"Minnesota House Speaker Margaret Anderson Kelliher said that women indeed want to crack that ceiling, but that gender alone won't cut it.

"I know Hillary Clinton, and Sarah Palin is no Hillary Clinton," said Kelliher, DFL-Minneapolis."

9. It's a bigger insult to Hillary then anything from the primary campaign.
Don't get me wrong, some of the charges made by her supporters were overblown, but I do think there were some sexist reactions when she "campaigned like a man," as it were.

This, however, essentially spits all over everything she worked for and says "women are interchangable."
