Palin's no Cheney. If--God forbid--a miracle occurs and McCain is somehow elected president, I doubt he's going to be taking orders from her. Not a good or a bad thing, but certainly a different situation.
However, if the old man expires before 2012, I think we'll have our most inept president since....well....2000.

IF they win (a big if but within the realm of possibility), nothing will change at the Office of the Vice President except the nameplate on the door. The same old neocon stooges will still be pulling the strings, telling McCain what to do and running black ops out the back door. And Palin? What about her? She's a nobody.

Palin is Dan Quayle with breasts. If McCain ends up dying in office, she'll be a puppet just like Dubya, and some evil neo-con freak will be placed in the VP spot.
