Florida definitely in play
Edited on Sat Aug-30-08 09:15 AM by dtotire
SurveyUSA Poll for Florida has Obama tied with McCain 48-48. However, Obama has a majority in registered voters in the 18-34 and 35-49 age groups. Plus a 92% majority for Black voters. The date of the poll is 8-27. Definitely in play.If there is a high turnout of young and Black voters, it will surely go to Obama.

1. AND with this Palin choice, Florida is going to seriously question the judgement
of McCain.. The seniors are already questioning why a 72yr old isn't trying to enjoy retirement and grandkids.... So, this little move in picking and anti-Clinton, is going to make them question even more... AND really, what are her credentials in defending Israel? What are her views on the Middle East, and can she even find it on a map?

5. vp choice gets all the newly registered in 04 voters in the
Redneck Riviera. The Religious Right. Plus "suntan Charlie" has a first rate organization and the Repub State party has tons of cash and no state races to spend it on.

We need the Jewish & Cuban votes from Miami-Dade and the Gold Coast as well as the I-4 corrider to compliment the increased registration of African-Americans and young people. And most of all we need the Hispanic votes to win.

This would be a great state for Hillary to campaign in. She is the only one other than Senator Obama who can get the press coverage.

have lost jobs.. people are fed up down here.. Dem turnout in FL primary was huge.. We have 29 days till before election register voters.. so, we've got a month to push hard.. I've gotten people at my work because I carry reg. forms everywhere I go.

9. Correction: Obama is losing the PA 10th district, 50%-41%
Calm down. That is a poll of only the 10th district, which Bush won 60%-40%. Bad news for McCain.
