1. I'm working on the Scwhan's Man! He came to the door

yesterday just after I'd been told that my husband won't be allowed to return home from Iraq for a week or so to take care of our four children during and after my impending surgery, and it was obvious that I'd been crying. So, he asked what was the matter, so I told him. And he was shocked that in most instances, unless the event is considered "life threatening" the service member is not allowed to return. He said, "Wait, surgery can be life threatening! What if something goes wrong? That Colonel will have egg all over his face!" To which I replied, "That's why I have an Obama sticker on my car." He looked surprised and said, "Obama, really?" And I said, "Yes, have you paid any attention to what he has to say?" And he said, "No, I just usually vote for the Republican 'cause I figure they're the ones who care about the military." So, I told him he should do some research, and he said, "What do they call the Republicans for Obama? Obamacans or something like that?" And I laughed and said, "Yeah." "Huh." He says. "I think I just might become one of those."
