6. It's The Opening Game of the NFL Season
The NFL will have a concert here in NY which will be broadcast across the nation. NBC is carrying the game.

5. Particularly bad for him because of VA
NY, NJ, DC and MD are all safe Obama. VA is a swing state and big-time Redskins country.

7. His speech will be after the game is over
Isn't the game at 7PM eastern? That would be 6Pm Central time. He would deliver his speech about 10PM Eastern after the game.

9. Not If There's OT
NFL games are notorious for going long.

10. Nah
OT is the NFL is pretty rare. Nearly every game is 3 hour to 3 hours 15 minutes. I do research for Major League teams for a living and study hundred of games and game times. I even read that they would delay until the game is over.

However, do you think after the first regular season game of the season that people in DC region and the NYC/Jersey region won't be watching post-game on ESPN? That will distrac people from watching. Plus the beer will be really kicking in.

15. I'm A 'Skins Fan, But The Giants Are Going To Win the East This Year
Tony Romo is overrated, and Eli Manning is still underrated.

11. I know I'll be watching the game
I bet Obama will be too. No point in listening to McCain's drivel. Only way I'd make it through that would be to play a drinking game where we took shots whenever he talked about being a POW.

14. 38 million? I bet he doesn't get one tenth that many.
He's dull. He's no orator like Obama.
