Hillary supporters voting because of Palin is a woman?
I have read comments, not here, but in the Cafferty file Link where supposedly women who were Hillary supporters are now planning to vote McCain because McCain has chosen Palin. Most commentary I have read points to women being pissed off at being so blatantly patronized and they should be! So I think these comments regarding Hillary supporters are bullshit.

Here is my message to those very few "so called" Hillary supporters who would be moronic enough, and lacking in enough self respect to now decide to vote for McCain and Palin simply because Palin is a woman. If this is true, then you never were a Hillary supporter! I supported Hillary and I support Obama now. When you write that you supported Hillary and then say you are now supporting McCain because of Palin, I want to go wash my eyes out with bleach! Please just hurry the fuck up and allow your male keepers to drag you by the hair back into the cave you came from.

If there is one party that doesn't need or want your support it is the Democratic party. Regardless of political persuasion, intelligent, hard working women with more then one brain cell would be ecstatic at the opportunity to spit in your face!

True Hillary supporters simply could not and would not change their vote to McCain because of Palin. I don't buy it.

7. Many of the blog entries are probably written by greasy freeper dudes
living in their parents' basement. They spend their evenings either pretending to be a pissed-off Hillary-supporting woman, or penning their Penthouse forum submission. In either case, their writing starts with "I can't believe this happened..."

3. It is sad but true that
there are some folks who would vote for a candidate only because they are a female.

Because of her gender. She is anti-choice, anti-science, fundie nutcase.

Hillary Clinton is a smart, highly educated, highly accomplished woman who worked her way to where she is today.

5. I'd like to hear from the Hillary supporters who are anti-abortion even in cases of rape or incest.
It just boggles the mind that anyone would think Hillary supporters would just smoothly glide over to support a woman who holds that extremist view.

6. Its bullshit, dont believe. A true Hillary supporter will not vote for Palin. Palin doesn't hold a
candle to Hillary Clinton.

9. "so called" Hillary supporters is right.
I don't think they are Hill's supporters. I think they're stealth repubs trying to use Hillary to drive a sexist wedge in Dem suppot for BHO. And I think they're failing. To call them Hillary supporters is an insult to everything Hillary stands for.

10. Funny how those claiming to switch their votes to McBush from Hillary
are always women.
Men supported Hillary too. Funny how we never hear of them switching their votes to McBush....
hmmm... could it be because it's all BS and none of these women were ever really Hillary supporters but are just McBush idiots out there to make it seem the Dems are not united.

11. I am tired.
A few women who supported Clinton are now supporting McCain. These are women who feel that the broader issue is not who should be president for four years, but the way women are still treated in our country--by all including democrats and republicans.

The message they want to send is bigger than an election.

I disagree with them, and could never support McCain or a right-wing Fundi(like Palin). Although I do agree that Clinton was treated horribly sexist by all sides, including "progressives."

But, I also disagree with those on DU who in their sexist way, paint all women with a broad brush.

I also disagree with those in DU who pretend to be progressive while attacking Palin because she is a woman--just like they attacked Clinton. (and even continue to say, just like they said with Clinton that it is not all women, just that woman and therefore sexist comments are ok). Wrong.

There is plenty of ammo to attack Palin without resorting to sexism.
