1. That was only the broadcast networks. CSPAN, and NPR and apparently all live streams not included |

Many refused to allow the swill of the networks in their living rooms. The 38 Million does not include those of us who watched on PBS or CSPAN or streaming video from the DNC.
The PBS, CSPAN and streaming video covered much more of the event than did the propaganda networks.
Not hard to imagine that the numbers were pushing 50 million or more in the US alone.

While it's obviously not a negative that the rest of the planet clearly wants Obama elected, appealing to it to obviously could backlash into a whole rounds of "who is he trying to be the president of anyway!?!?!?!" from the packs of idiot pundits who rule political discussions in the MSM.
