The amount of time and thought that Obama put into his choice for VP is in direct proportion to
the amount of respect he has for this country and its citizens.

The converse is true for McCain. The reason it doesn't matter that, prior to Thursday, McCain had only met Sarah Palin ONCE, is that he has no intention
of ever working *with* her or having her help him govern. (Can you imagine John McCain asking her to come to the Oval Office because he wants her opinion
on whether we should or should not invade Iran?)

It's just another cynical Republican move to make it seem like they care about women when, in fact, you'd have to be a complete and total ignoramus to vote for
a candidate who's pro-life AND pro-death, pro-NRA, pro BIG OIL, pro creationism, and pro everything that is anathema to most liberals or progressives but
just happens to be in possesion of female genitalia.

McCain's ambition has now completely overtaken any decency he once may have had, and he's willing to throw the country to the wind in the process of
pursuing his personal goal of power.

We've had 8 years of a president and administration that has a complete lack of respect for the people of this country.

ENOUGH.
