Forward to 2:57 into the shot.

Seriously? You now occupy a job that admittedly ONE MONTH AGO you didn't even know what it entailed. Are you SERIOUS? Can you imagine if Biden had said this in July? McCain would have an ad running every 10 seconds with Biden saying "what is it exactly that the VP does"... and then the announcer saying "Can we really trust Obama's judgement on the economy and foriegn policy when we can't even trust him to pick a running mate who knows what job he's suppose to be doing".

Yeah.. so let's go ahead and make that ad.. and input McCain and Palin. :eyes:

1. "It's a pretty cool job here too Joe as Gov. of Alaska"
Yeah, she's V.P. material. How in the hell did she ever get elected Governor? What were Alaskans thinking?

8. Same thing Minnesota was thinking with Ventura,
or California with its Hitler wannabe.

Not much.

What's hilarious to me is how she tries to sound as if the VP job may not meet her standards of "productivity" and "hard work".

2. Nice catch!
OMG - I can't believe she actually said that someone would have to tell her what exactly a VP did for a job. She sounded like a total ditz! The idea that the woman who stands a heartbeat away from the presidency and as commander-in-chief of the military can't understand what her job entails is pretty scary and reflects badly on McCain.

You are absolutely correct - Obama's people need to make an ad with this airheaded comment featured front and center. You should email your idea for the ad - it's an excellent one!
You nailed the perfect way to present this boneheaded comment and I hope they jam it up McCain's butt sideways!:)

3. Thanks..
God, I would have hoped the Obama campaign has seen this by now... and I can't believe the McCain camp doesn't know this is out there.

The best thing about this pick is that these idiots don't even know what kind of mistake they've made.

4. Obama is Completely ignoring her in his stomp speech and commercials
I think that's best
it's far more worst to not even find her relevant in the race
it makes her even more of a punch line
imo

5. Most of the country would ask that same question
In fact, what DOES Cheney do besides shoot people and occasionally pop in to the Senate?

6. True.. but at least Cheney knew what he was going to do before Bush nominated him..
Mostly because Cheney TOLD Bush that he would be nominating him for VP though, and Cheney wrote his own job description. But, I suppose that is for another thread. :)

10. I still am amazed when I think of Cheney heading his own vetting committee.
And dont get me started on Quayle. I have no clue what he did either. LOL

7. Stewart and Colbert used the same clip
in their segments on Palin. Very funny!

Crooks and Liars has the video.

9. The Dems should make an ad with her asking that ? and editorials from major Alaska newspapers
stating she isn't qualified. It calls into ? McCain's first major decision as the nominee.
