Recently John McCain selected Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin as his vice presidential running mate. Beyond their gender, Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton have almost nothing in common between them.

On the issues that matter most to women in the 2008 election cycle, these two public figures couldn’t be farther apart. From abortion to health care, Palin and Clinton stand on opposite ends of the spectrum.
