The Obamas and Bidens visit the Yankee Kitchen

Barack, Michelle, Joe, and Jill started early this morning in Ohio, grabbing a quick breakfast at the Yankee Kitchen diner in Boardman and talking to folks about what's going on in their lives.

The campaign is heading through the heart of the industrial Midwest, holding rallies, town halls, and making unscheduled local stops just like this one at the Yankee Kitchen.

"Sorry to interrupt your breakfast," Joe said to one patron before introducing himself.

"Not at all, good luck to you," the man replied.

Check out this video from the diner, featuring Will Puntuti, a regular.

"This is an important moment in history," he remarked.

A lot of folks feel the same way.

It amazes me how the two of them can talk to massive crowds one day, then they're on the road, and in little diners in little towns. That's how it's done, isn't it? :)

I was beginning to get a little down about the GOP VP stuff but this little video lifted me up right away. It was so nice to see Biden and Obama glad handing and looking so comfortable. Really cool stuff!

Youngstown has a huge (over 10%) unemployment rate. I think Obama/Biden will be stopping by there again. :-)
