my 70 year old mother (former Hillary supporter) was gushing about the speech...she even used the word "awesome" twice! I'm not sure I've ever heard her say that!!!

friday! it made me laugh to hear it...I knew she was staying up to watch the speech, so when I called her friday I asked "did you watch the speech"

response, "yes, I did, it was awesome! it was an awesome speech!"....hee hee!

8. My 90 year old mom loved the speech too

She was a Republican most of her life, and she's voting Obama. She really liked the way Obama talked against McCain's policies rather than telling lies about his character. She's really mad about McCain telling lies and taking the low road. She was impressed with Susan Eisenhower's speech and told me that the Democrats are "like the Republican Party was 50 years ago"--which to her is a compliment!
