5. Well, let's just say that as a Born Again Christian, prayer is something
that I do....and it beats praying for rain on other people, like some folks do.

9. I'm asking The Universe to
protect those who would be facing the fierce weather coming Hurricane Gustav.

"150 mile an hour winds" are what we had on Kauai in '92 from Hurricane Iniki that was a cat 5!

10. A beautiful thought, FrenchieCat, and what a lovely little angel.
To your prayer I add mine for all those who are now in harm's way. May His tender mercies keep them safe.

Blessings to you.

14. I'm not religious, but I keeping them in my thoughts
and I hope the they get them out in time. It was so horrifying to watch what happened after Katrina and I don't want to see it happen again.

16. I will hope that no one gets hurt.
There's no point in praying. If "God" is determined to harm innocent victims, praying won't dissuade him.

21. Been worrying about them all day Frenchiecat
And will keep them in my prayer, and thoughts. I am religious, but a person does not have to be religious to keep a good thought, and hope. It lifts my spirit to see people of all religious persuasions and none at all , keeping the people of the coast close in their hearts..

22. I've already said a prayer for them, FrenchieCat
And I will again. I sure hope and pray that nothing like Katrina happens again to the Gulf coast. I don't know how good the levees are fixed even by this time with the Bush gang of RW thugs financing the repairs.

Does anybody know what happened to Swamp Rat? I haven't seen him around in a long time. I think he lives in New Orleans or somewhere in LA. Hope he is OK. I love his artwork.
