The Truth: By pick Palin McCain has lost all the dirt he had on Obama.
Believe or not; reviewing the forums I found my fellow Obamanauts in a excellent position. Fellow Obamicons and Obamacrats: take this into consideration.

The number one issue McCain has made this about is Experience.

1. The lack of experience attack is no longer usable by McCain today. He picked the least experienced running mate in the HISTORY of the USA.

2. The Obama Pastor's speech attack isn't usable anymore. His Running Mate is part of a RADICAL CHRISTIAN church herself.

3. Using Biden's words is out. His running mate has praised Obama herself!

Ultimately. McCain and Rove are now out of dirty tricks they can play. This mean this campaign is now purely based on the issues. An area where neither McCain or Palin can get more than that holdout 19% vote.

3. Sorry, but his running mate is the "right type of radical christian"
I can not believe that the American people really want us to go back into the dark ages

That is why I think we will win

4. "This mean this campaign is now purely based on the issues"
Your joking, right? When has a Republican campaign ever been based on issues? Never that I can recall...

5. Good points. They would be hypocrites to attack on those issues now
their hands are tied for the next two months.

8. Well actually McCain gave up the "experience" position because he wanted to be change too.
He was being the fucking baby because he saw that Obama was being the rock star who was being liked by millions and he wanted in on the act. Never mind that there's actually a fucking reason why Obama's popular-- oh, I don't know, he actually thinks about his positions and his common sense actually appeals to people?

Also, although McCain's lost his grasp on Obama, with the hypocrisy that's always present in the GOP base, I'm pretty sure that the right wingers will have no problems gushing over Palin but going after Obama for his "inexperience" (an attack I've already seen online) and the ridiculous resurgence of the "McCain's a maverick! He's about change!"

Don't underestimate the GOP. Even when the fight looks like it SHOULD be about the issues, they'll find a way to try to make it about silly crap.

9. Also brings up McCain's age issue and places it front and center.
The Obama camp had struggled to find a way to broach the age/health subject, but this makes it too easy.
