"to say that is ridiculous on its face" John Kerry (with video)
Edited on Sun Aug-31-08 11:41 AM by FLDem5
on Lindsay's assertion that Palin is more qualified to be President than Senator Obama.

Kerry has been tough as nails this campaign. I would love to see more of him.

Thanks, Senator, you made them look very transparent today.

**** VIDEO HERE!

1. Obama was vetted by millions of voters in the primaries, especially running against Senator Clinton.
Millions of voters believe that Obama is qualified and experienced enough to be president. How many votes has Palin received by people who believe she is qualified to be president? None.

2. Did you hear Kerry's comment on the choice of Palin?

He states McCain had other choices but they were quickly shot down
by the extreme RW faction of his campaign group, proving-----

McCain is NOT his own man, and hasn't been for some time now

and

He will follow the neocons to the gates of hell if he has to!

Unfit for the office- PERIOD!

3. Heh, so much for the 'maverick' he can't even show the guts to make his own choice.
No wonder he's so awkward and creepy around her, he didn't want her to begin with.

4. That's right, Elrond!

he does not look comfortable around her, at all.

One of his picks was Lieberman, to no ones surprise.

13. She doesn't look comfortable with him either
I've seen better hugs with McCain doing Bush and Lieberman.

Awful body language between the two.

6. Agreed. I've been lovin' me some John Kerry lately.
His convention speech, in my opinion, was topped only by Obama's. And his appearances on news interviews as a surrogate have been spot-on.

And that's coming from a former Deaniac who was rather disenchanted with him after the 2004 primaries.

the one who doesn't want polar bears on the endangered species list would be more qualified to be president than Obama who won the Democratic 18 month primary.

10. Sen Kerry also called her a 'flat earther'
She apparently doesn't believe that humans contribute to climate change and doesn't believe polar bears should be on the endangered list. Two big issues for JK. He'll hit her on the environment pretty hard.

Gore should make a statement if he hasn't already.

11. Obama earned his spot the hard way.
He didn't beat Clinton in the primaries because some old dude thought he was hot and picked him a few days before the convention.

More than any candidate in recent memory, Obama has earned his spot at the top of the ticket. He took on a very capable field of Democrats in the primaries, fought hard, and came out on top. That requires leadership, organization, and great skills as a politician.

14. Obama was also President of the Harvard Law Review
and a Constitutional law professor.

Palin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communications-journalism from the University of Idaho.

Didn't challenge him at all on any of his assertions. Real Republican suck up today on all the shows.

and dance around calling a liar a liar.

If he could just speak straight and parsimonously, he'd likely have been president.

Even I can't listen to him drone on the way he does...
