McCain blew it not picking Bobby Jindal
Imagine all the press this week, and if LA performs better in this hurricane (which it should) than it did in the last one, they could talk about that non stop. It was really stupid.

He performed an exorcism in college.

The story is that Jindal turned it down.

9. He seems incredibly organized and in charge on TV now
I think, assuming an Obama victory, he is very much in the mix for 2012.

4. I figure McCain figured he'd lose the racist vote
which is a major part of the GOP.

10. Too many Ignorant Americans think India is Muslim.
They'd lose their "secret Muslim" Obama attack.

12. Addendum:
They also wouldn't be able to make fun of Barack Obama's "funny name" anymore. Bobby's real first name is Piyush, if I remember right.

15. I'm a Democrat through and through
but I lived in Louisiana before, during and a bit after Katrina and as far as I could tell Bobby Jindal is the real deal. Gustav is going to be terrible but Governor Jindal has done it right so far.

16. I'm not sure an exocist would help him any more than the TV reporter he chose.
The man claims to have helped perform a real, true-blue exorcism.

Seriously.
