1. What, exactly, is the point of giving an acceptance speech via satellite?

3. You need a loud rowdy crowd for an acceptance speech. This seems bizarre
Sounds more like a trial balloon -- I will believe it when I see it.

6. This will be GREAT! They'll be in some devastated town turned shithole by
the hurricaine, generators running, sweating like hogs, giving that magnificent speech. Maybe someone will hand out a bottle of water or two.

Maybe they can play "born in the usa."

And it'll still look like the panderbear/cynical/me/me/me/me/me posturing this DICK has always been about.

I hope the fail is sooooo epic he pees himself when he realizes it.

7. Will this work against us? Will they now be seen as "caring" and "concerned"?

I imagine they are trying, feverishly to rewrite speeches. I had been afraid that the theme of the entire convention would be Obama...not ready, not experienced. That won't fly now.

The only area where McCain polls higher than Obama is in: Who is best suited to protect American from terrorist and nuclear threats. How can they claim that with a straight face now with their hockey mom VP who admittedly knows nothing about foreign policy.

In our convention they most of the speeches would refer to both Obama and Biden as a team. It will be hard for them to pair up McCain and Palin without diminishing McCain's experience.

11. They are going to politicize the hurricane
by giving their speeches from one of the places hit by the hurricane. I smell a "mission accomplished" moment coming soon.
