a little talk by our candidates, I'm almost sure they would ask us to follow their lead and not discuss this "babygate" situation. The story may be true, so be it, let others (National Enquirer, Flynt) make it public. Obama and Biden are not the type of men who even venture to go near this. They're above it. I remember back when I was a "Bidenite".. I forget what the situation was, but we knew Joe would not approve of discussing or promoting whatever it was. Sorry, Gateley or Pirhana can help me here.
Anyway, my point. Many people come to this site and read only. It leaves a nasty taste as to the type of people we are. Nothing can be gained by our constant pushing, analyzing and grasping for knowns and unknowns. Let others who dabble in these types of exercises have at it.
I was thinking earlier if either Barack, Michelle, Joe or Michelle were to take a gander on this site just to see what we were thinking and saying, none of them would be pleased. I'm just sayin......

They work for us, not the other way around.
We have the right to discuss, bitch and rant about almost anything we want to in this forum. It's a place to blow off steam and I doubt Democratic politicians put that much thought into it.

When you watched George Bush fuck the country these last four years, was it comforting to tell yourself that we would never sink to "their" level?

the fringe (us?) to make it into MSM eventually (probably too late), but Obama and Biden are very smart to keep way away from this juicy story.
It does not have anything to do with the real issues facing us -- BUT it is a peek into the never ending blatant hypocrisy of the Repugs.
There are plenty of other issues showing the hypocrisy -- BUT this is a case which even the sheeple can grasp.
If Obama listened to a Rovian advisor (and thank goodness, he does not), the campaign would be diverted away from substance.
But let the tabloids pick this up and run with it -- can't really hurt the cause as long as the official Dem campaign has nothing to do with it.
