I know I got involved in the baby gig
but that's not my thrust in this thing. This is what I want to say, It's how a person represents a nation. Want to ask her questions? Ask her these:

First, if they have a Vice Presidential debate where you can write in questions just tell all of your friends to write in this question for Palin. "Do you support the Equal Rights Amendment?" It's that simple. If she says yes then conservatives will run away in droves. If she says no then ask, "can we pay you less?"

Some of the organizations that support her are vehemently opposed to the ERA, make her go on public record as to where she stands.
The, "Can we pay you less" on it's face seems silly but, as it appears to be, she doesn't support the ERA based upon her affiliations. I think my follow ups would involve the equal pay/equal rights and why she doesn't feel they need supporting. Basically, you get down to what she really hates. In doing that you have the possibility of her showing her true hatred for the institutions that would benefit from the ERA.

I think my follow up would be, "what examples would you give us as to why you don't support the ERA? What damage would be done to America if it passed?"

Secondly, for Palin at the debate, "Why continue giving Alaskans oil incentive checks when the money could be put into a fund that would give every Alaskan free health care? If, as Governor you are serious about weening your state from the federal dollar wouldn't this oil money aid your state gets do just that?"

Now of course she doesn't want to answer that, Alaskans love the free money, for the most part don't care about someone else's sick kids, and it's a very unpopular move. The reason for asking it? It shows conservatives from everywhere else in the country that she doesn't care about them. She will take their tax dollars to fund health care in her state while ignoring a viable alternative. A way to ease the nations health care woes and she continues to pass out money that could eliminate the healthcare needs of an entire state. How will that play to the rest of the nation? How will the nation feel if they open up ANWR for drilling and give even more money to the citizens of Alaska? What does the N in ANWR stand for? Where's my 1300 dollars? That's what a nation will want to know.

1. The baby gig speaks volumes about her character and her values
She placed her ego (gotta give that speech!) above what was best for her unborn child. This woman is a monster.

2. for me
it's her choice to take corporate money, give some to the citizens of her state and not even consider the healthcare benefits the money could have been used for. I know it's been going on since the pipeline was built but does anyone think up there? By this time they could have invested those funds and not only offered free health care but a free college education also.

Now she's on a national stage, she won't suggest these ideas. The people of Alaska don't want to give up the checks, they can't see the future it could bring them. They want a new 4-wheeler. These are the issues that should be posed to EVERY Alaskan politician, especially one chosen to be VP. She wants to open ANWR? ANWR belongs to all of us, not just Alaskans. Come to think of it, most of Alaska belongs to all of us. Where is my oil check?
