When you're 18, you're clay. Give the poor kid a break. Give all of them a break. I'm actually embarrassed that I participated in or even bothered to read the threads here today about her kid and the guy who got her pregnant.

...this 18-year old kid is just a kid--a regular guy in high school.

He reminds me of every bad boy I knew in high school, and I don't think anyone
is saying that he is a bad person for not wanting kids or for who he is.

However, his page--come on. The language, the four-letter words--it's sort of
a shock when you compare all of that to Sarah Palin and her family--who are
being marketeered to the fundie base--like props--as a wholesome treat sent from Jebus.

There's sort of a clash here...a comedy of sorts, wouldn't you say?

The fact that he said, "I don't want kids" when his girlfriend is pregnant
and Sarah Palin just sent out a press release announcing their upcoming
marriage and baby on the way---is a bit out of sorts...right?

He's not doing anything wrong. Not at all. He's just a teenager.

From what I'm learning about Sarah Palin, she's marketing herself and her
family one way--for political clout--when the reality of her life is not
what she touts in the brochure.

Her kids seem normal. In fact, they seem to be rebelling against their mother's
nonsense.
