The Republican Party is self-destructing right in front of our eyes! McCain was already a terrible nominee, manifestly unqualified for any leadership post. Then he recklessly selects an unvetted hyper-religious secessionist wacko based on a 15-minute chat 6 months ago. Good God! The incompetence is overwhelming.

It's going to get harder and harder for cheerleaders like Scarborough to defend the indefensible. But it'll sure be fun to watch them try!
